5 Years of Cybersecurity Achievements

Our team member, Ammar Mohammed, secured 1st Place in the Earthlink CTF Competition, marking a significant addition to the team’s impressive track record over the past five years, under the leadership of Mustafa Dhiya, Head of Information Security.

2. 1st Place – Ministry of Interior CTF Competition Multiple members excelled in this event, including Mustafa Raad, who played a notable role in strengthening the team’s competitive presence.
3. 1st Place – SulyCyberCon Competition Held in Sulaymaniyah, this competition demonstrated the team’s ability to solve complex security challenges and deliver creative cybersecurity solutions.
4. 1st Place – Iraq IT-Live Competition A strong win that reinforced the team’s reputation as a leading cybersecurity competitor at the national level, highlighting teamwork and continuous development.
5. 2nd Place – Cyber Talents Iraq 2021 The team demonstrated strong adaptability, technical insight, and problem-solving skills in handling diverse security threats.
6. 2nd Place – Gilgamesh University CTF Competition This competition laid the foundation of the team’s journey, where members distinguished themselves in vulnerability assessment and cybersecurity problem-solving.
7. 3rd Place – GISEC Global 2022 (Dubai) A major international milestone where the team proved its competence among global cybersecurity experts, showcasing high-level technical capabilities in a competitive global environment.
8. Participation – Black Hat MEA (2022 & 2023) Although without podium placements, the team’s participation in one of the world’s most prestigious cybersecurity conferences provided valuable exposure to advanced techniques, tools, and global industry trends.
